Overview

Nova Capital is a modern digital banking platform designed to help ambitious professionals manage spending, saving, and investing from a single intuitive experience. I led the product strategy, UX, and visual design for the platform, creating a seamless banking experience that transforms complex financial decisions into clear, confident actions.

The Challenge

Traditional banking apps often overwhelm users with cluttered dashboards, confusing terminology, and fragmented tools. Nova Capital needed a product experience that felt trustworthy, sophisticated, and effortless—one that could help users feel more in control of their financial future.

The Solution

I designed the product from the ground up, focusing on simplicity, trust, and usability. This included product strategy and user flows, information architecture, wireframes and high-fidelity UI design, design system creation, mobile-first experience design, and customer onboarding and activation flows. The final product unified checking, savings, budgeting, and investing into a single experience with smart cash flow dashboard, personalized insights, goal-based savings, automated investing, real-time transaction monitoring, and frictionless onboarding.
